About

A nonprofit for the patients with the hardest journeys to navigate.

AuVentures Health is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working on the responsible use of AI in complex neurodevelopmental and autoimmune care — built so patients guide what happens to their information, and clinicians lead the decisions about care.

Founder & CEO

AuVentures was founded in 2025 by Christine DeLuna, after nearly two decades in technology — most recently in generative AI — and a personal life spent navigating autism and autoimmune illness.

That combination is the origin of the work: a career spent building data and AI products, and lived experience of care that those same kinds of systems were not designed to support well. Her background spans religious studies, game-theory research at Harvard, and product and privacy work at Apple — a through-line of attention to how systems shape the way people are understood.

Our mission

To help more patients be understood.

Patients with complex, multisystem, or difficult-to-diagnose conditions are the ones modern healthcare struggles most to serve. Their care is spread across specialties, their records arrive in fragments, and the work of assembling a coherent picture often falls to the patient or their family.

AuVentures exists to close that gap. We build AI tools that digitize fragmented medical records, organize them into a consistent history, and surface patterns over time — so that patients are understood as whole people, and clinicians have what they need to provide thoughtful, integrative care.
As a nonprofit, our purpose is the mission itself — not returns to shareholders. That structure is deliberate. It lets us keep patient interest, not commercial incentive, at the center of every decision.
Governance

Accountability is part of the design.

AuVentures is committed to operating transparently — publishing how its tools work, what they do and don’t do, and what the organization gets wrong. Our principles are published openly, and we welcome scrutiny of them.

The organization is guided by a board of advisors — clinicians, researchers, and specialists whose expertise informs how the work develops. A formal board of directors is a priority still ahead of us, and establishing one is part of how AuVentures intends to mature its governance.
