Support AuVentures

Help build healthcare for the patients with the hardest journeys to navigate.

AuVentures Health is a nonprofit. The work depends on donors, grantmakers, and mission-aligned partners who believe that complex and neurodivergent patients deserve better than fragmented care.

Why AuVentures

This began as one person's experience.

AuVentures was founded out of lived experience — navigating both autism and complex autoimmune illness inside healthcare systems that were not built to recognize patterns across a long, individual history.

The realization underneath the organization is simple: many neurodivergent and medically complex patients struggle not because the information about their health doesn’t exist, but because no part of the system is set up to assemble it. The records are scattered. The history is fragmented. The patient becomes the coordinator of their own care.
AuVentures exists to close that gap — and to do it in a way that keeps patients in control of their information and clinicians in charge of clinical judgment.
The problem we work on

Fragmented care falls hardest on complex patients.

There is a meaningful and increasingly recognized connection between neurodivergence and autoimmune conditions — the two often appear together in the same person, and that intersection is exactly the population AuVentures is built to serve.
Patients with overlapping neurodevelopmental and autoimmune conditions are among the least well served by modern healthcare. Their care is spread across many specialists and many systems. Diagnosis can be slow. Longitudinal tracking — seeing how things change over years — is rarely anyone’s job.
AuVentures builds tools that digitize fragmented medical records, organize them into a consistent history a patient owns, and surface patterns over time — so that complex patients can be understood as whole people, and clinicians have what they need to provide thoughtful, integrative care.
It is focused, careful work for an underserved population — not a broad bet on automating medicine.
Why a nonprofit

The structure is deliberate.

AuVentures is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit by choice. We work in healthcare and neurodiversity — spaces where trust, ethics, accessibility, and long-term stewardship matter more than speed or scale.

As a nonprofit, our purpose is the mission itself — not a return to shareholders.

That structure lets us prioritize research, patient advocacy, ethical AI governance, and long-term public benefit ahead of short-term commercial pressure. For an organization handling sensitive health information for vulnerable patients, we believe that is the right and responsible foundation to build on.

Over time, we do see room for mission-aligned ways to sustain the work — but preserving the organization’s ethical foundation, and its commitment to underserved populations, stays central to how we think about growth.

What support makes possible

Building the tools. Continued development of the records-digitization and longitudinal-analysis infrastructure at the core of AuVentures.

The July 2026 beta. Supporting a small, well-served first group of patients and clinicians, and learning from them directly.

Researchers and advisors. Bringing on people with expertise in ethical AI, healthcare systems, and the populations AuVentures serves.

Clinical and technical partnerships. The relationships that let the work be tested and shaped in real practice.

Operational foundation. The governance, compliance, and organizational capacity a responsible healthcare nonprofit needs.

How we think about growth

Thoughtfully, and mission-first.

AuVentures is an early-stage organization, and we intend to grow at a pace that protects the mission rather than outrunning it. Trust, ethical governance, and genuine usefulness to patients have to be established before anything broader is pursued.

We would rather be honest with funders about that than overstate where we are. What we can offer is a clear account of the work, a structure built around the people it serves, and a real commitment to learning in the open — including documenting what we get wrong.
